Prospect Mountain High School now offers a way for parents, guardians and students to track student progress from the convenience of home. Web2School is an internet-based program, from the company Wicked Good Software, that is simple to use and provides up-to-date information on:

 

As teachers input their assignments and scores, your child's grade will change to reflect the updated average. This program has been adopted and implemented as part of our mission and technology statements. The goal of this program as it relates to the mission and technology statement is the greater facilitation of parent, teacher and administrator communication. Parents will have a much better idea of the grades their children are receiving prior to report cards, or even progress reports. You can now check any time, day or night, to monitor the progress of your child. It is our hope that this fosters a greater sense of responsibility and motivation for our students.

The Web2School program requires a file download that is available below. Once you download this file, please request a username and password as directed in the letter you received from the school. If you did not receive this information or have misplaced it, please contact the school at 875-3800 or click the link to the right "Request Username / Password."
Please note, for security purposes we cannot give out this information over the phone.

Installation Instructions:

  1. Click the link "Download Web2School" and when prompted, download the file to a folder of your choosing (or the desktop).
  2. Double-click on the icon and follow the directions on the screen, hitting "next" to proceed.
  3. Towards the end of the installation, the program will ask you if you want icons in your startup group and or on your desktop. Be sure to select the desktop icon option.
  4. Follow the directions given to you in the letter from PMHS. This will detail the server and port information, as well as give you your username and password.

Configuring the Client to Access the PMHS Web2school server.

  • Start the Web2school client using the desktop icon labeled Web2school User or by selecting Start-Programs-Web2school User.
  • When the login window is displayed, click the Advanced button.  The program displays the Advanced Setup window. This will highlight the entire row. PMHS must be highlighted to click "modify."
  • In the IP address field type 74.220.232.41
  • Click Ok
  • Click Ok on the Advanced Setup window.  The program returns you to the Login window. Click on the drop-down arrow in the Web2school server field and select the PMHS server.  Log on using your username and password.
