My name is Tom Stevens and I have been teaching since 2001.  My first job was as a long term music sub in Stratham.  After that I spent 3 years at Alton Central School before moving up to Prospect and I've been here ever since! I have a  Master of Education degree from Plymouth State University and I teach band, jazz band, instrumental music lessons, music theory and a recording class.  I also advise the Tri-M Music Honor Society and the tech crew.  I have been a class advisor in the past and have worked with the drama department on "The Wizard of Oz" and "Beauty and the Beast." There are 2 things in my life that are my driving forces.  Number 1 is my faith and number 2 is my family.  Those 2 things have helped mold me and shape me into the person I am today.

Hi, I’m Wes Raines, choral director at Prospect Mountain High School. This is my first full year at Prospect. I graduated in December 2015 from the University of Maine in Orono with a Bachelor of Music Education degree. I currently teach Chorus, Select Chorus, Music I, and Advanced Guitar. I am also this year’s music director for the school musical. Prospect Mountain has been a dream come true for me – I have wanted to be a high school choral director since my junior year of high school. Outside of school, I am actively involved in the Portland Community Chorus out of Portland, Maine. I reside in my hometown of York, Maine as a new home owner.
